Originally from Russia, Irina moved to Georgia in 2009 and has worked in higher education for over a decade, supporting international students through admissions, advising, and academic counseling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Teaching Russian and English as a Second Language and an associate degree in Business Management. Irina is fluent in Russian and certified in TESOL through the University of Georgia. Before joining the Language Institute as an Admissions Advisor, she worked at the Interactive College of Technology, where she earned multiple awards for her work in student advising and enrollment. Outside of work, Irina enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring new restaurants around Atlanta.
