Originally from California’s Coachella Valley, Rebecca moved to Georgia in 2016 to complete her master's degree in Classical Languages at the University of Georgia where she studied the influence violence had on antique art and architecture. Rebecca has bachelor’s degrees in Classical History and Religious Studies and at one point in her life, lived with Shinto priests in Japan. Prior to her position as an academic support coordinator at the Language Institute, Rebecca taught high school Latin. In addition to being a stellar pet parent to her two cats, Rebecca enjoys heavy metal, reading, horror movies, hanging with her husband, and watching anime.
